Each year GHA holds a charity round where we raise funds to go towards a local charity or person that could use some assistance.

This year we will be raising funds to assist young Levi Andreazza who has been battling Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome.

Levi's Story
"Levi became unwell and was flown to Sydney beginning of October 2018, After finding he had Platelets of 5 (normal is above 150) and minimal white cells & tests being sent to the USA he was diagnosed with Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome in early November. Levi's only chance of cure was to have a Bone Marrow Transplant with the closest possible donor - after testings it came back my other son, Torren who is 2, was the closest match.
Levi was admitted again to Sydney Children's end of January this year and underwent chemotherapy to wipe his system prior to the Transplant taking place on 7th of Feb.
We are still in Sydney with Levi as he needs to be closely monitored before going home & coming back fortnightly. A cure will hopefully be given to us in 12 months."

Round matches this weekend will also take on some extra meaning with the Women's division playing for the "Charity Cup". The team with the higher goal difference takes out the cup.
The mens matches will be playing for the Mark Chappell Memorial Shield (Leeton v Bulldogs) & Charity Shield (Galahs v Easts)
